Workshops

The New York City Trans Archives’ public workshops engage the community in our hidden past. These meetings bring together transgender activists, scholars, and historians to discuss curated narratives from trans history and culture. They range in scope from Trans History 101 to specific areas, such as New York City trans history, building trans archives, and trans youth history. They involve a range of audience participation through storytelling, podcasting, and other forms of collaboration.

We regularly host workshops at roundtables at conferences and events, but are also happy to come to your area! If you would like to schedule a workshop, please contact us at nyctransarchives [at] gmail.com.
